x402search is a unified search gateway that agents call directly over HTTP. No signup, no API keys, no monthly minimums — each request settles in USDC on Base at $0.0025 per hit via x402. Cache hits cost $0.001.
Your agent posts to /v1/search. We reply 402 Payment Required
with the exact amount, token, and recipient address.
Your agent signs an EIP-3009 authorization for the requested USDC amount and
resubmits with X-Payment: <base64>. The signature is scoped to this call.
We call the x402 facilitator to settle on Base, run the search, and return results
plus X-Payment-Response with the on-chain tx hash.

Your agent doesn't fill out a signup form. No email verification, no API key rotation, no "please upgrade your plan". Just a wallet.
Credit cards can't do $0.0025 — Stripe's floor is $0.30. Micropayments are what x402 unlocks. We pass the economics on.
Every billable call has an on-chain tx hash. Query
/v1/receipts?wallet=0x... for the full history. No reliance on us.
Upstream vendors are wrapped in a neutral schema — explicit three-tier summaries, tier-only authority, opaque payloads for non-URL cards. Adding a second source doesn't change your code.
